Cant think of any others at the moment, sure there are more, lots more rave ones in sports centres, ice rinks and other random places (why does this not happen anymore!)

Loads of festivals as well

But from that list, if I had to pick one, it would be Space, in the early 2000's, nothing like it.

I loved my rave years too, but grew out of that, but Lydd was pretty special too, went there 3 times and all were amazing

Yes I've been to rex Paris. Great club

Whats Rex like? Do you go downstairs? Im tying to name a club in paris inwent to 10 years ago with about 10 naked women who were covered in blood and being carried by naked men as part of the performance. I think it was a gay club? Anyone?

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Too many to list/remember but particularly fond if hazy memories of The Timepiece in Exeter in 90s, a very classy & underrated student hangout, the heavenly social, the 4 Aces in Dalston with that maze of corridors, the Turnmills backroom with the low draped ceiling, and more recently 333 before the gangsters took over, The End upstairs AKA, plastic people on curtain road - almost pitch darkness with one of the best systems in the UK (see also sub club), the key in king's cross - staff were vile but the music & multicoloured dancefloor always blew my mind, also the zap and concorde in Brighton, dogstar in brixton, the lodge in harlsden, bagleys/canvas, kings cross (although murder trying to find a toilet) - in SPAIN - Batikano in Barcelona - a monster club which looked like a cathedral, also loadsa sweaty nights at jamboree, polyester and tubo in 90s+ the open air club at L'Atlantida (Sitges) which was amazing. More recently Sala Be Cool, sidecar, barts and El Monasterio have been ace. Shout also for another open air one Amerik by the sea in Sete (France). Only been to a few in Ibiza - well past its heyday by the time I started there and Space was really overpriced and overrated. Loved Dalias though.

moodiest places in London - scala, turnmills (on a bad night), herbal, egg, rhythm factory, camden palace, gardening club but London had 'attitude' - always a totally different world to the North

I think clubbing as i knew it is dying tbh (see other thread) and been replaced by pop-up events in pubs, car parks, 'warehouses', one-off festivals, street-feasts etc.

Did festivals kill the clubs...? Hmm

Good point regarding festivals actually, you could be right? Although there were a lot more big one offs for thousands of people back in my day and the clubs were still thriving.

A good point from the latest #maninsanan blog is the availability of cheap flights and people flying into Ibiza two or three times a year for a couple of days rather than going for a week or two weeks.
