Your first proper 'club' tune?

2 minutes and 14 seconds of vibes driven dancefloor heaven and big brass riffs from the heart of detroit.

thanks to ready steady go dot org dot uk.

the weekend starts here

I've been into music since 1963 with the Beatles an all that. Was well into the 60's soul and Motown, Wilson Pickett, James Brown, etc. Entered my first Nightclub in 1969 (weirdly I'm now DJing in the same nightclub every Saturday night 8O :? ). I couldn't possibly remember my first clubbing tunes but they were likely to be the Soul music of the time. :?

Garage music will always be to me the likes of Martha Wash, or similar from the early to mid 90's.

is she another version of Rosey Gaines??
I find most garage music dull.

As for my first club tune it has to be Tin Tin out Feat Espiritu - Always Something There to Remind me

Martha Wash did Runaround (which was one of my first club records), as well as loads of others with todd terry.

she was also one of the weather girls (as in raining men fame)....
