Ibiza one that is ;) Yep 8 of us fly out late Thursday night, we drive to Es Cana, pick up our keys for the villa, drive to San Carlos, and begin a long weekend of, well, whatever will be will be!

The only thing we have planned is We Love Space on Sunday, which we've booked tickets for in advance. So, who's been and who can you recommend out of this lot who are on?
Groove Armada
James Zabiela
Ralf
Smokin' Jo
Tiefschwarz
Tim Sheridan
Alex Neri
Layo and Bushwacka!

Cannot bloody wait!

i will recommend all of them APART from Groove Armarda.

One thing though do you go clubbing all the time at home?

Yeah I've read a few duff reviews about GA - is it the blandness?

As for clubbing at home, not as much as I used to (I'm 29, feel like I'm getting on abit for it now 8O but I HAD to do Ibiza before the dreaded 30. Stupid really , we have a 48 year old bloke in our party so I doubt age will stop me). Why do you asK?

You will probably like groove armarda then. They don't play anything new or groundbreaking, and they play lots of anthems of the past.

I'm not sure how to take that comment! :P

If you've not seen Groove Armada before you'll think they're really good, they bring out loads of old anthems like Promised Land, Afro Medusa, Together etc etc. But then you see them again and again and you realise they play the same old same old set time after time

But you're going to be in Space, you can't not have a good time ;)

Didn't mean it in a bad way. Just that if you go clubbing all the time you probably won't like GA as they are predictable and play lots of classics,it never really goes off and you may tend to get bored during their set.

Digging a bigger hole for my self now so i'll stop.
:D

Cheers for the comments guys. I'll give GA a go as I've only ever seen the end of one of their sets before (literally the last minute) but may have to have a wander around. They're on the terrace aren't they?

We did think of going to Pacha on Friday but I've always found Pete Tong to be, well, crap basically!

No offence taken Robo. I'm just a sad, out-of-touch, old fart ;)

Oh. my. god! What a weekend! Four days was far too short! Did Mambo and del Mar on the Friday then headed to Ibiza town for drinks followed by a party back at our villa (www.solimaribiza.com - the villa was amazing, looks better thna on the pics on the website). Some of us did El Divino on Saturday but others were savign themselves for Space...

You were so right, how could anyone NOT have a good time at Space??? One of the best nights I think I've ever had in my life! We got there about after a day at a gorgeous beach in the north of the island. Layo & Bushwhacka were on the terrace and pretty damn good they were too.

GA were, as you said, quite predictable but played some decent tunes to get us going - nothing wonderful but a good start to the evening if a little cheesy in places.

We then mooched into the main room for a drink and soon found ourselves getting REALLY into Tiefschwarz. The BEST part of the evening!

After a few hours we headed up to Premier Etage where me and my mate found ourselves unable to to actually chill out and carried on dancing - the only people in there doing so  We waved every single new plane load that flew over and welcomed them to Ibiza. Left at 5.30am very happy people.

Cannot wait to come back next year! I want to be back NOW!

I've been up and down again regarding Ibiza in the past few days, but every time I read an excited pre-trip post turn into a post-trip post of happiness makes me smile again. For me, its a place I just can't get enough of. Both times I've been now just make me more determined to be back the year after. We're gonna get a Villa for 2 weeks next september. Just 13 months till my Ibiza Trip :D

ive been out there for the last 3 months and wana go bak now! even tho i was workin still manged to get myself in 10k worth of debt due to a strict regime of clubs each week :

monday - cocoon / DC10!
tuesday - carl cox
wednesday - underground
thursday - cream
friday - made in italy
saturday - day of rest
sunday - space oh year!

luckily enuff i had a job which finished at 12pm and gave me passes to most of these events, but being able to go to these events every day made the debt completely worth while! cant wait till nxt year.....need to recover first body starting to give up on me.
