what a great wkend of football.. i was at the setanta cup final in dublin last night and Linfield pulled off a miracle too. was sitting beside a load of scotchies that came over for the match

surwe lets have a wee look at the so called best league in the world, 4 winners since the EPL started, blackburn being a sheer fluke who out spent the rest, and chelsea having spent £200 million before they won it, no offence mate, but you can only beat the opposition thats put in front of you, and for rangers and celtic to have attendances of 50+60,000 every home game, playing the dross that is left in the spl thats a hell of an achievement dont you think, considering most of the epl struggle to fill 20-30,000 stadiums?
give rangers adn celtic a place in the epl+the revenue generated from it and both clubs would flourish, they would have the pulling power of the league and the tv revenue top pay big money for players
unfortuantely both clubs are big fish in a small pond

personally i couldn't care less who won the SPL cause United managed to stay up. And while normally it'd be mildly amusing to see Dundee drop down, Im a bit concerned as for their future cause football without derbies would be dull. It's also a sad state of affairs that there are probably more people in Dundee crying themselves to sleep right now cause Celtic lost out, than there are cause Dundee got relegated. For this reason only, I hate the Old Firm! And the fact that about 90% of my family in Glasgow support Rangers. Interesting weekend for football. Im only just starting to get some feeling back into my buttcheeks after the abuse of a lengthy delayed trip to Inverness on a stinking Travel Dundee bus!
i wud love to see them in premiership, dont think it will eva happen as scottish football wud be excuse my french "f***ed" and to be honest i think rangers and celtic would only offer a mid table position...but hey another team that my spurs may stand a chance of beating im all for
