She dabbled very briefly and decided they weren't her thing.
A cheeky half at Space opening last year was enough to leave her in a state which inspired Carl Cox to approach me at DC10 the next day and check she'd recovered, so I'm pleased she's doesn't bother with them. This year we will be staying past midnight

Hmmm... interesting. The couple we are going with this year, the guy has been doing them for years, he actually got Jon into the whole clubbing scene
The girl has never touched anything, but came to Ibiza last year for the closings and has decided to "dabble" this year at the WLS opening!Wonder how that will go

HAHAHA! oh lord thats funny Buckley....poor anna was in a right state last year kid....and you were convinced that she'd "just had a few vodka limons".....
but it should be highlighted to others that weren't there she was having a good time
Deffo sort the car out this year mate....its the only way to go....get off road and into the countryside and do atlantis etc.

I think you should make sure she isn't hungover/drinking alcohol and out in the sun for her first one. I think it was that combination that did for current.
Just get her to take it easy. Maybe get Barbie to look after her

She was indeed having a good time until about 11ish when she became a dead weight and I carried home on my shoulder!

I think you should make sure she isn't hungover/drinking alcohol and out in the sun for her first one. I think it was that combination that did for current.
Just get her to take it easy. Maybe get Barbie to look after her
Well Space is going to be our first day there, so she wont catch much of the sun. Straight to WLS at 11am, shove a couple of little'uns down her neck, she'll be flying by 3pm lol

Bec tbh I don't think Ash should take anything in Space for her first time. She enjoyed herself last year without anything and the combination of new pills, the heat, strange environment, crowd, water not freely available from tap etc etc etc isn't a good combination for taking your first pill imo. Plus it's also a worry for Russ always checking that she's ok.

We were at Space opening rather than WLS, so she caught a lot of sun in the DJ mag Arena/carpark. Presumably sunlight will come through the new retractable roof for the afternoon for you guys?
Half plus sun plus booze properly wacked her out and I think the half was a big part of it.
Michael - maybe it was earlier and I did come back? I remember going for 'lunch' at Es Vive -Drew? Caught up with a few folk at Es Vive Bar that night - were you there maybe?

At least if she tries it at Space, it's daytime, she's got a pass out if she decides she does want to go home, and Russ can take her and then come back in etc.
She's not your responsibility for the whole holiday so if she goes it doesn't mean you have to.
I dunno, I spose it could work one of both ways - she'll either love it and turn to the dark side
or get really freaked out by it all and could end up spoiling hers and yours day/night
