Already travel agents are reporting that flights on the most critical days over the Xmas period are full. As The Ibiza Sun goes to press there are apparently no empty seats at reasonable prices on any flights leaving the island on the 20th & 21st December or on the 27th & 28th or on the 3rd & 4th January.

All other dates over the Xmas holiday period are available but all the cheap seats have gone & the flights are filling up fast as residents on the island try to get away for the seasonal holiday. What's more, it appears that the prices are rising as there are reports of flights costing up to 3.60% more than they did for the same route only a month ago.

The situation with the ferry boats is much the same & though they can handle around 3000 passengers daily, the most popular sailing dates & times over the Xmas period are nearly all taken.

f***ing typical, Bet pacha will stick their prices up as well

Is this something that has been happening every year or are we going to see a new trend develop here?

i personally reckon that over the years winter clubbing in ibiza is getting more and more popular...esp xmas and new years.

Hmm... I guess the island is just too cold for people to head over for any other reason that just to celebrate xmas and new years in the clubs. Cant see the winter holiday season expanding outside of the festive period much.

It was just a thought as to whether the island would ever one day be a year round destination.
