Could not have wished for anything else.

Over the last few weeks my head has been turned to mush by a combination of intense love for the little squirmy thing and the lack of a decent nights sleep :)

I got a glass collection from almost everyone I know. One of my co-workers gave me a set of drinking glasses. One of my friends gave me martini glasses with a shaker. Another one gave me whiskey glasses, and yet another one gave me beer mugs. WTF:!: :lol:

I also got a few other stuff, but glasses were the highlight.:? :lol:

Christmas isnt about presents or what you got etc, its about being with your family and enjoying it all together.

Take away the presents and then see how many people are still interested.

Im not religious at all but i think its a shame to see how commercialised its all become, xmas is for kids at the end of the day.

I got lots of lovely things but im not going to go on about it because some people didnt get anything at all.

Yeh I know, wasn't with my family either though :(, my two sons are 21 and 23 and doing there own thing in life. Was gonna be on my own for the first time in 25 years but got invited to join my running partner and his family for dinner on Christmas Day. Had a great time........and sank quite a bit of wine all afternoon......... I did take 2 bottles of Mateus Rose and a voucher for a full facial at a beauty parlour for his wife........ couldn't turn up empty handed. Made my excuses and bowed out to the pub at teatime, didn't want to overstay my welcome. :p
