would anyone drive to ibiza

yep. only for people no taller than 5ft 11.

ask me again in 2009 which is when i'll be going (fingers crossed)
Hmmm... hopefully by then I'll be living further West somewhere... perhaps you could pick me up on the way? I'm only 5'9"
(is there room for the missus? how big is the trunk?)

there was an old woman who used to drive to cala llonga every year. I'm sure she was pushing 80 or something.

Chewie - yes dogging was immense fun all the way I found many swings as well!! Infact you find a lot of perverts at camp sites 8O

Dominic - depending on how you want to do it...

My fav way.. Take 3-4 days and camp. Taking the none toll roads. Including ferries it costs about £500 return

Toll roads - it can take 24 hours but believe me you are well and truely fuct after that drive (she says being a passenger  ) That still costs about £350 (inc ferry)

The worst part is Northern France, it goes on forever. As soon as you hit Millau you notice the difference in scenery

I want to go NOW!!!

If you are serious about going I will give you our beautiful route and ferry prices/camp sites, etc.

I'm seriously thinking about it, but i'm probably gonna be driving to the Alps this year first.

Let me see how I handle that little road trip 1st.

Thanx for help

Dom

We didn't have any arguments  I never got him lost due to me not paying attention and day dreaming. I am the perfect navigator

Do it chewie, road trips are extremly fun (says the one who crossed half europe in a bike)
Depending on the period of the summer you can find the spanish and south france roads packed, toll and non toll ones, but I would definitly go for it.
Ferry from BCN to ibiza with a car it's not cheap, you can check prices at Transmediterranea, Balearia and Iscomar

how about denia-ibiza?

iscomar is the cheapest denia ibiza crossing and their crashing into denia record is no better or worse than the others!

spain is wonderful to travel through - good roads, i've never yet used a toll road - and mainland drivers are 10 times better than the ibbies!

spanish cities are fab - everything is in a small area so easily doable and of course the food and drink is cheap and excellent quality.

if i were you i'd dump the car at denia and come over here as a foot passenger - if you're only here for 2 days before you return you can hire a car here
