-I Just Wanna Live- Good Charlotte- Just because you dress Punk and say you're Punk DOES NOT make you Punk!

-Fell in Love With a boy- Joss Stone- Took a White Stripes song and just castrated it.

-Big Sur- The Thrills- A bunch of Irishmen acting like Californians. Not much more pathetic than that.

But you know, it would be unfair to have all the bad songs without the good, so here is my list of best songs of 2004

-This Love- Maroon 5 - Finally bringing the BAND back to Pop Band.
-Just Be- Tiesto
-The Power of I and I- Shadows Fall
-American Idiot- Green Day
- Amerika- Rammstein
-Yeah!- Usher- As irratating as it is now, you gotta admit it was hot when it first came out.
-Imagine- A Perfect Circle- Rarely does a cover song ever add to the origional. APC managed to make one that adds on to Lennon's classic without totally distroying the song
-Si Tu Te Vas- Paulina Rubio- (insert Cokesniffing sounds here)
-This is Now- Hatebreed
 
I think the problem with Band Aid 20 (and it is a MAJOR problem) is that when the original was recorded the best we had to offer was some of the best in the world. These days the best we have to offer are people like Travis, Dido and errr....Will Young. Just about says it all really. And they wonder why record sales are in the toilet.

God I HATE the Call on Me song... it is horrible and OVERRATED!!

I also hate most everything by Blink 182 and ANYTHING featuring LIL JOHN!!! BARFAROLA. Well, Merry Christmas hahahahaa

I pity you, you're smack-dab in the middle of the Pop-"Punk" world. It has to be hard to get through all the riff-raff and get to the REAL Punk.

Actually, now that I think about it... You're in Sunny San Diego.... I'm in 4 degree (Farenheit) Central New York... I don't pity you that much anymore!

hated call on me, babycakes, most formulaic pop,

dont agree with dizzee rascall and the streets, i think a grand dont come for free is one of the most refreshing albums in years...

album of the year, mylo, by a long shot...

I think its easier just to say 95% of the stuff in the charts was supremo poor.

However there has been some successful bands acts in the charts too. namely:

the killers
Maroon 5
Razorlight (well.. a couple of em)

And poss a few more :D
