Worries About Thomas Cook

I worked for Thomas Cook for 9 years and would be sad to see them go. The reason for the shop closures is because they have just merged with the Co-op so there is no point in having 2 shops in the one town. A similar thing happened when I worked for them and they merged with another travel company. It's not going to help them that the press have got hold of the story while they try and get their finances in order but I hope they can. I'd happily still book with them at the moment as you have financial protection with them anyway.
 
well said no mention of taking over co.op.which was not cheap.awaiting the voucher day in jan to book my hols.
 
Not too worried about Thomas cook,I generally favour their rivals if doing a package deal.
I do have something booked with a TC subsidiary though.....
