The Top 50 Clubs in the World

It's the definitive top 50 clubs from around the globe. Last year's number five, the renowned Ibizan institution of Space jumped up four places to usurp Fabric as the globe's finest club. Something anyone who has spent an infamous Ibizan sunset on its picturesque terrace would certainly agree with.

Indeed, it was a fine year for the White Ilse throughout the top ten and beyond, further proof still that all the hogwash about the clubbing haven's diminishing influence is little more than hot air. The evidence speaks for itself. The colossal Amnesia held on to a top ten birth, Pacha climbed up a place to rise to number three whilst the home of Monday morning Ibizan wrongness DC10 also edged up a place into number seven.

Other top ten entries included Brazil's rainforest nestled Warung, the Pacha of The East - Singapore's Zouk - and Miami's decadent Pawn Shop Lounge, the highest of many new entries. Across the privileged fifty, no corner of the world was left untouched with everything from Athens' post card perfect mountain side club Venue to Tokyo's futuristic haven Ageha finding a home. Established institutions like Brussels' techno legend Fuse (a new entry), Parisian venue The Rex and Sven Vath's glistening Frankfurt superclub Cocoon were also in tow with Shoreditch's trendy 450 capacity T Bar a surprise entry at 49. Check out the full results below:

I've been to Womb a couple of times... it was good... Japanese clubbing is quite different though

but i agree with the others.. they are all great clubs... but its very subjective!

Absolutely not.

Fabric on 1 is ok, but Pacha Ibiza on 4? in front of Space and DC-10?

Less than subjective, it's narrow...
If it weren't for the Tokyo club, I'd say it was only UK respondents in the poll!

All very well having a top 10 clubs but it's all about the vibe and atmosphere and having no posers and quite a ,lot of those clubs would have no proper vibe as opposed to a small independent club.

well I still think the clubs listed above have a great vibe!! I tink i've been to them all....but as I said its all subjective!:)
