A car alarm went off at 3 am last night so we got out of bed , grooved round the room for a couple of mins then went back to sleep.

Certainly reduced the stress levels.

i get woken up at 7am every morning whether its a day off or not, bloody cat meows at the bottom of our bedroom window if he's in the house he stands on my head, i cant win

What time do you go to bed then? Even if were going to sleep for a full 8 hrs that would mean going to bed at 5am

on a school night - in bed by 10pm and up at 6.30am
on a day off - in bed whenever i start to doze off, and up whenever i can be arsed to get up/need a wee/hungry/or neighbour deciding to do DIY.

You should try living where I live, getting woke up by the milkman at 3 every morning (ooo errr) our bedroom is at the front of the house and he delivers milk in a diesel van which is left running for quite a while, has his radio loud, and banging milk bottles! I decided last night that I'm going to get a pellet gun and just shoot at him a little bit
