With Underground gone where is next for music taking precedence?

Heartbreaking news regarding the closure of Underground.

I know the body is barely cold but where will be the next point of call for those in it for the music/energy that Underground will leave behind?

Cova Santa is the only one I can think of personally but if anyone could enlighten me to anything else working with a similar spirit I'd be very grateful.

Think enough has been said regarding what Circoloco has become.

I’ve been Circo the last 2 years running, has changed so much since I first went in the mid to late 2000s, I even went into the main room to go the toilet to find it wasn’t there anymore! 2 years ago I thought it was a bit too busy but was nice to go back nonetheless after a number of years. Last year absolutely made sure I got there early, got there around 8pm and I’d say up to around midnight it’s nice as it’s not horribly busy. It did get very busy once Skrillex came on but we had a nice spot near the front and held on to it. Disco Bus goes there nowadays too which is nice, makes it easier and cheaper.

Really enjoyed Sven in the Las Dalias garden last year, older crowd there for the music, looking forward to the Akasha bit as well next month. Doubtful but really hoping Tini is back at Underground next month too.

I’m curious about Secret Sessions in PdB and Akasha as options for Saturday night when I’m on the island in a couple weeks. My internet sense from the forums, insta etc is that both could be good vibe/good music spots but curious to hear first hand feedback or more informed opinions than mine. Patrice Baumel at Akasha Sept 7, will that be well attended? He’s not someone I’ve followed, don’t know much about him.

Patrice Baumel is absolutely worth a visit - he really knows his stuff and if he is playing an extended set you'll be in for a treat.
