Wisdom teeth

I hate pain & Dentists... I pay £140 to get put out cold, just for check up / polish...

Ouch I feel for you......I had to pain that about 6 years ago....I had to have the max 6 injections to numb me...and the woman had to get the head honcho terminator from upstairs to yank em out......
I had about 3 people around me taking turns whilst another one helped my chops stay open with some clamp device

Have you tried gurning yet? if so what a wierd sensation when your jaw moves and extra CM or so

I never even knew my wisdom teeth had come in 
- until dentist did a check up and was counting up and updating his little sheet - I think they came in quite early......never had any problems so I feel for you (and count my lucky stars) ........
Why do they call them wisdom teeth? Do you become wiser when they appear? ................maybe I have always been wise because they came in so early?

Sounds like my ordeal... I only had one removed because it was growing diagonally up into the last molar and had broken through the gum. It took 30-40 minutes of a dentist rocking it back and forth trying to get it upright so that she could pull it. I had all of mine out at the same time (they were growing sideways into my molars). I spoke like Daffy Duck for a week afterwards.
