yeah at least you'll get better weather in Vancouver... don't know about the nightlife there though.. its a bit too birkenstock for me!

Tiesto, Morillo, Armin, Corsten, that's all I really need in my nightlife and they have that there :)

yeah, I guess they don't really do it for me!

its all about the vibe.. and nowhere in Western Canada has it i think!

At least you're out of Deadmonton..and thats a bonus!!

It is uncharacteristically cold in Southern California this month...which means I have to resort to wearing a hoodie :D ;) 8)

I still hate it though! I went to Philadelphia two weeks ago for a conference (my second time to the East Coast) and almost froze to death I was so ill prepared. I don't own closed toe shoes or a scarf and I had to rush to go buy one. I don't understand how people can live in that cold. Its a lovely city but DAMN... I WAS IN HELL. I came back to L.A. and it was 80 degrees or something. So fabulous! But it sucks now, but I won't complain as I don't live in Russia and have no concept of a real winter...

Hey Anj, how are things going??? What's a Cali girl like you going down to Philly without any Timberlands, yo??? You already have the hoody???

Anyway, the freeze out here is giving us the best early season of skiing in some time. Check out Beaver Creek...

That does look gorgeous, indeed, Bri, however, I am just not a cold weather girl. I was born in Palm Springs, lived in San Diego until two years ago and now I live in Los Angeles. I don't understand the CONCEPT of snowfalling and winter wardrobes....I thought I would be okay in my low top converse and stylish BCBG jacket (that is like one layer of warmth but it looks cool!) while in Philly (I did have an Eagles beanie! Even though they suck!!!! You can't bail on your team though but did you watch Monday Night Football? LORD.   ).

Anyway, we have snow in the mountains here and I tend to avoid it. I feel immobile in the amount of clothing you have to wear...Warm-weathered animals don't feel good in THAT many clothes! 8) ;)

Death Valley, one of the hottest places in CA was 22 deg.F on Monday night. I was in Vegas at the Power-Gen show earlier this week, and even Vegas was freezing.

I think it will take Brian some time to watch football after watching the University of Colorado Buffs being hammered 70 - 3 by my Longhorns in the Big XII title game. :spank:

At least they finally got rid of Barnett, and hopefully will bring in a top notch recruiter.

It's going to be a very good National Title game though!!!

Tell me about it. Only place I know that can be up to +35C in the summer and -42C in the winter...
Firstly, let me say that I recognize your pain. That is truly atrocious weather.

But I will say I've been to places with a -50C to 40C weather range. That's messed up! Luckily, the worst I've seen, as far as I know, is around -30C (with wind chills of 10-20 degrees colder 8O ). I say "as far as I know" because you don't usually carry a thermometer with you out in the tundra

I truly hope so. Nothing would please me more than to see Vince Young et al gang bang the Trojans. It's definitely a clash of cultutres.
