Winter 2024-25 photos & videos

Hi all, new to this forum so if this is not the right place to ask, please help me out.
My first time on Ibiza in winter. Any tips or advises for spending my time wisely? Thanks

rent a car, explore the island, go on hikes (either on your own if adventurous enough, if not I know someone....), head to plaza de parque in town in the evenings for a beer or two...

it is the quietest time of the year right now, it's the purest ibiza you'll ever see!

Thank you! Looking forward to it. Would be my first time hiking so have to read in to that.

Bon dia!

that long walk along Passeig Joan Carles from the overnight ferry feels eternal at 6.45am! you pass all these heavily tattooed clubbers heading the other way who were probably at Pacha before. maybe I missed it but a bus connection up the coast from the actual ferry drop-off would be handy

The single best thing about the whole Christmas palava, making and then tasting the salsa de nadal. So many fond memories of my grandmum stirring the pot on the wood fire and me running around the kitchen, filled with that mouth-watering smell. Nowadays, to see the new generations enjoying the process is such a joy!

Enjoy the holiday season :-)

How poignant this post is for me. Our neighbour sadly passed away recently and it was her funeral yesterday at Puig de Missa. She has bestowed us with home produce for years. One Christmas a big pan of Salsa de Nadal was our gift. Sadly none of us liked it until the in-laws arrived and FIL had the lot!!
