Will Ibiza be busy late September/early October?

I've been in September twice. Parties are still banging, bit more relaxed in the day though. Most the "idiot" crowd are back in Uni etc. (maybe that unfair as I'm knocking on now at 36 and I'm just getting old) Took my fiancee to Ibiza last year (we are going back this year but early June) and she loved it. Took her to West End one night and it was completely dead. A complete contrast to July/August when I've been before. Weather was 44 last year when we went one day. No rain. I think September is a great time to go and Mambos is still banging. Children of the 80's is a good craic for something different, Did Space on Sundays and had Guest List.

The only thing wrong with late September is it's the thunderstorm season! Still very warm (and the sea too) and I would say everything's open but half-busy; to the point where owners are glad to see you! Oh, and the kids have gone back to school (an added bonus) and Ibiza airport ain't too busy going home. If I had to choose just one month to be on Ibiza it would be a toss-up between September and June. Plus for Sept is the warm sea, minus is the thunderstorms (but can be fun); June the sea hasn't heated up but again everything's half-full and the sun fries you.
I would like to challenge my own post - just got back and mid-June the sea's lovely and warm so therefore I might change my mind as to my favourite month! Can't recall having a poor June ever, but would go after the 10th-ish to get the certainty of warm sea water.
