Will Ibiza be busy late September/early October?

We're thinking of going to Ibiza for my mate's 18th. This falls on the 26th of September.

I have looked at the club lineup on Ibiza Spotlight and managed to find an event pretty much every day from the 27th of September to the 3rd of October.

Just wondering what the crowd will be like and how busy it will be? Some of these events are closing parties such as the Cocoon closing party at Amnesia and the Space (Hi) Black Coffee closing party. I went to Space last August and it was absolutely RAMMMMMED at that time.

Looking forward to your insight :)

P.S. As a side note we initially booked Magaluf but on second look it appears it will be completely and utterly dead after the 24th of September, so we want to swap to Ibiza (though none of us have ever been Maga and are curious).

it's closing party period.

this means...
--> the beaches aren't packed anymore (great!)
--> you can get tables in restaurants without pre-booking (great!)
--> the closing parties are still packed (maybe not so great), but the vibe is the best of the whole season IMHO
--> weather can be hit or miss

I personally love that time of the year.

Not sure if that was a typo? We prefer clubs to be packed, so if closing parties are really busy that'd be awesome! :)

Are closing parties much better than regular nights?

Just wondering because if we fly on the 27th we would have this lineup:

Pacha
Amnesia
Space (Closing Party)
Pacha
Amnesia (Closing Party)
Zoo Project

But if we fly on the 29th and have 8 days instead of 7 we can have this lineup:

Space (Closing Party)
Pacha
Amnesia (Closing Party)
Zoo Project
-
Pacha (Closing Party)
Amnesia (Closing Party)

So double the closing parties if we delay until the 29th and book an extra day, and the Pacha one is David Guetta! Plus we would have a free day to enjoy the rest of what Ibiza has to offer, assuming it is still good during the first week of October.

You must be looking at last year...Space no longer exists. But closing time is great time to go. The only questionable thing is the weather as it could rain or be cool.

I went last year 16th sept to 19th sept

It was a lot quieter than July

Thunderstorm on the last day

Parties were still busy enough though and great crowd

We walked into the west end after Ocean beach to carry on and it was completely dead there

That's alway around my dates, great time to be in Ibiza.

6 nights in a row, good effort. Makes me wish I was young again.

Love beginning of oct too, planning on going from 5 oct to 10 oct, solomon closing on sunday and luciano if he plays at destino again on thursday

you seen solomun only closes 15th october? you have a s+1 on the 8th but it won't be the closing.

Ahh yes thats true i didnt mean to say solomun closing, i seen that it closes the week after.... Do u think luciano will be at destino again?

Went 13-20 sept last year and it was the best trip yet (aside from the fact I went back a few weeks later for the Space closing party, but that's so special it doesn't count).

My favourite time too if going for clubbing reasons. Always seem to be around more like minded people that time of year. Weather can be a bit hit and miss but then i moan about it being too hot in July and August

I go several times a year and, Mid to late September is the best time on the island. Some clubs like Eden and es paradise are giving out free entry wrist band's. The west end is busy enough to have an atmosphere but not too congested as to be a nightmare drinking. Weather is usually around early 20's. Enjoy it :)

The only thing wrong with late September is it's the thunderstorm season! Still very warm (and the sea too) and I would say everything's open but half-busy; to the point where owners are glad to see you! Oh, and the kids have gone back to school (an added bonus) and Ibiza airport ain't too busy going home. If I had to choose just one month to be on Ibiza it would be a toss-up between September and June. Plus for Sept is the warm sea, minus is the thunderstorms (but can be fun); June the sea hasn't heated up but again everything's half-full and the sun fries you.

Love june and july, end of sept is good too. Love beginning of oct for closings! Gonna fo privelege closing think that will be good
