Why I Collect Vinyl

Good read.

I've got a set of CDJs and a set of turntables (Gemini, as they were cheaper... Technics are on my want list). I love collecting Vinyl. Other than Armada though, Trance is all but dead now on Vinyl, which is sad. :(
 
Nice blog, the vinyl police may come on soon though telling you it is not practical to buy vinyl and no one uses it anymore bla bla blaaaaa..... ;)
Nice read, I feel the same and my vinyl collection is very small at the minute but it growing. Chemicalrecords have a great online shop to add to the others you mentioned and are competitively priced to.
 
I have two regrets in my life -

1. Not buying a bigger house when prices were low and I could have afforded it.

2. Selling 2 x immaculate condition Technics 1210's, a mixer, amp, speakers etc for £350 in 2008 :(.
 
i still have my technics 1210s and a made to fade mixer that i purchased in 1993 they are in my shed now with a **** load of vinyl. hopefully when my kids get a bid older i will bring them back to life

I love my vinyl too. Only used a CDJ once in my life and hated it.

Only downside is I've got around 1000 records I've gotta pack up and ship to the other of the world. 8O
