Who wants to work?

Who won? Ostrich is luurvely.
Well, I was trying to convince her she should try it, and she told me she wouldn't eat things that aren't common in the UK, at which point I posted a long list of UK ostrich farms gleaned from a 5-second Google search (smartass I am ) It'd be great to see how her attitudes have changed after travelling.

I love ostrich. Lean, tasty, and I make a mean ostrich stroganoff. 8)

Eugh! Well i say i can eat anything as long as i see it after it is skinned and be-headed.

My dad's tried alligator (the 'rents live in Florida) and also said it was like chicken.

I tried Kudu carpaccio and I had a steak with the one that starts with a 'B' (or the other way around?). The springbok is very lean... probably quite healthy as meats go.

I had Kudu, springbok and warthog carpaccio in South Africa - very, nice. Ostrich is a fave of mine too - there's a woman at Borough Market who sells from her ostrich farm in Northamptonshire - all organic ;) Oh and I had reindeer and puffin in Iceland.

Sorry Babs. I just remembered your face the other week when I said that Erin and Rob had eaten rabbit 8O
