...on a day like this! The weather here is so gorgeous right now. Makes me wish I had a company laptop and wifi!

Webcam shot across the river to St Basil's Cathedral and Red Sq, taken from the building across the street from my office:

It's so bright and sunny outside that the photo looks all washed out.

I wish it was here, its sunny but decieving as its ice cold out there :x

And I went out last night so am seriously suffering today, its not good on a school night :spank:

I say we have a revolt. A Spotlight Strike, if you will. Hangover, great weather, general dissatisfaction with your role as a pawn in the big corporate machine... whatever your reason, let's all walk out right now!

The thought of pulling a sicky did cross my mind after only 4 hours sleep 8O

st. basil's is a truly maginificent piece of architecture.:D
It is indeed. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful buildings in the world.

Here's a night shot I took of it in December walking home from work one day.

Ok, fair enough......whats the weirdest thing anybody has ever eaten?

I went to a South African restaurant last night and had Crocodile to start with and Springbok for main (apologies now Barbie for talking about this....)

I heard you could also get in a restaurant somewhere in London a Dessert made from Scorpion!!? 8O

Ooh, springbok is quite nice. I had a steak in Jo'burg and really enjoyed it. There's another similar animal that's also good... name escapes me right now.

8O Blimey, wouldnt that taste weird?

I would imagine you can get MOST things in London.

I dont think I have ever eaten anything that weird I have to say. I do feel funny eating duck though, it just doesnt feel right.

(sorry for taking over thread about "weird" foods :D )

Could be a Kudu? That was also on the menu which is also a type of antelope, and something beginning a 'B'. Not very helpful!

Yeah Springbok was very good. It was like a very lean soft fillet steak.
Crocodile tasted like chicken!

Oooo Duck is great! Specially wrapped in a pancake with Hoi Sin sauce! ;)

My dad's tried alligator (the 'rents live in Florida) and also said it was like chicken.

I tried Kudu carpaccio and I had a steak with the one that starts with a 'B' (or the other way around?). The springbok is very lean... probably quite healthy as meats go.
