When you've got a telephone:

when I was a kid and they had school discos the phone always used to confuse me...

now I know what it was all about!

Lots of DJ's used to use them back in the 70's, I had to on odd occasions but never liked them, they were poor quality and hard to use in a loud club.

thats an un-canny resemblence to tricky dicky from eastenders a while ago

London DJ Mark Moore played Tricky Dicky - hence the resemblance - same bloke! :P

First time I saw the phone in action was on Byker Grove when PJ and Duncan were DJs

Been trying to find a pick, but can't!!

Also, bart - is that the Soundhaus :?:

He's one of the two blokes who were 'S-Express' !! Of 'Theme from S-Express' fame.

Correct, but in attempt to not have his acting 'career' sullied by involvement with the 'seedy' dance seen he was know by the nom de plume 'Ian Reddington' for auditions. Hasn't done much other TV than bit parts in Cadfael but he's sone quite a lot of theatre.

It sure is. The picture was taken from Inner City Acid @ The Soundhaus in July. Soundhaus is a quality venue. Inner City Acid is a class night as well.
