Which month

When would you recommend the best month to go?

I normally go around end of July/August...

Last year it spent the whole 5 months there and preferred June. I think by the time peak season had arrived I was burnt out and found it too busy. I CAN'T SPEND THE WHOLE SEASON THERE THIS YEAR!! :evil: :evil: A holiday is better than nothing, but I can't decide on which month to go?
 
Well I went last year end July/beginning August.. but we were in the quieter bits.. like Es Cana, Portinatx.. and we loved it.

We just visited San An and Ibiza Town when we felt the need for something a bit more exciting.

WEather was perfect too!
 
June is the best by far: much more hours of sun, not still too packed, nicer weather.

If not, then it has to be september for me
 
everyone has a different answer for this.

i think i'm the only one to confess i like august best - i love seeing the island in full swing! not being able to get a table or finding it hard to get a taxi just adds to it all! :lol:

I know what you mean, I hate it being packed, yet I love the excitement of it being busy?????

Anyone prepared to give me, say £10k for the summer. I shall put it to good use?
 
when i've worked the season out there before, i loved june as well cos you get that feeling about the season just starting and everything seems fresh and new and ready to go and everyone's got loads of energy and money and there is no ibiza-flu and the dream hasn't been spoilt by people leaving /bad incidents (not sure the feeling would be quite the same in june if you weren't actually living/working out there for the rest of the season - i dunno:? ).

as a worker i loved sep the most for hundreds of reasons but all in some way related to it being the end of another season. as a tourist, i reckon i like september best too. (you can probably save yourself a few hundred as well by going in sep)

so who did you work for sirens??
 
June or September for me.

In June everything is all shiny and new and there's a real sense of anticipation for everything kicking off, plus the weather is always guaranteed.

September is fab cos everyone is partying twice as hard cos they know the season is nearly over for another 9 month, the only downside is the weather can be bit hit or miss, but that never bothers me cos you just end up at more random aftershows if the weather is for sunbathing, plus you don't really need a tan cos as soon as you get home summer is over.

you can see how the connection was made though;), 5 months jobless sounds like a dream but i'd have been too bored even with all the partying.
 
I've always gone the last couple days of August and first week of September.. still get that August buzz, but the beginning of the coming-for-the-closing-parties-crowd as well.

I will probably be there at that time this year too. I would like to do a trip for the opening parties, but some of the nights aren't open yet.. same as the closing parties, but then the weather isn't as hot..
 
As Stuie said, a millon different answers (ok, probablty no more than 12 :lol:) to this question.

I prefer June, for reasons already outlined by everybody above.
