Debating this indeed.

Anyone know who lawlers 'special guest' will be @ Viva's closing?

Or maybe I can hit Space until 6am(assuming that is when party closes), and then straight to Pacha for Deep Dish(are they going on until 9am?)

Need help pleeeeeease :?: :?:

Easy. Deep Dish. Viva, unlike the name suggests, is dead. I doubt there are any "special guests" or otherwise. Several weeks ago they cancelled on all guests when they couldn't manage to pull a crowd to fill, either, the terrace or the main room. Lawler and Sasha now play together on the terrace...with Sasha opening.

such a shame, I honestly thought lawler would pull the numbers. Apart from deep dish, whcih is not always on, I thought Thursday would be a perfect day to attract a good crowd who know there music.

if he does not continute next year I'll be hopping sundays get him back for a few sets

the problem with viva is that its at the same venue as Space.
most people are in ibiza for a short time and want to see as many clubs as possible. you've also got pacha and amnesia with crowd filling nights. some of the viva line ups on paper were among the best on the island imho. However, the night we considered going even with the likes of Sasha, Lawler, Jacques Lu Cont, Desyn Masielo, ticket prices dropped to 15e from 50 and rumour has it, it was pretty quiet. Maybe a different Venue, or bring some decent nights to San An for a change.

I thought Viva would be a success, the only established night on Thursdays which it was up against was Cream. But Deep Dish and Ministry have both been rammed each week @ Pacha so between them and Cream they must have taken a lot of the Viva crowd.

In answer to the original qu, Deep Dish all the way, their Opening was best night of my hols and will be making return for the Closing :D

Sounds like Viva has had a tough start, which is a real shame, because I know the work Steve puts into all apsects of what he does, plus musically, the night appears to have been excellent.

I hope they get the chance to carry it on, improve and make it rocking next year.
I'll definitely be at the closing, afraid Deep Dish & Behrouz, as much respect as I have for them, bore me to tears.

i went to the opening aprty and although quiet it was good. Beggers belief that such amazing guests cant egt a crowd!

I think you're out of luck. All the flyers and posters on the island announced last night (1 Sept) as the Closing Party for Viva.
