Which came first?

Question for all of you guys.

Which came first for you, taking the Class As or going out and listening to dance music (whether it be trance, house, minimal, techno, etc)?

For a lot of my friends, they seem to have got in to doing the Class As and Bs before they got in to the music that goes with it.

For me, I got in to the music about two years before I tried anything.
Am curious to find out which came first for you guys.

Yep I can see loads of people admitting to drug use on the internet.

I do on it just about every forum I go on. It's funny the way reactions vary between forums.

I liked dance/electronic a bit beforehand, but got into a lot more after I started doing pills (at the ripe old age of 26).

Been bopping along to dance music in all its forms since I was a toddler.

Drugs aren't important.

Haha, probably a pointless thread, thinking about it. Oh well

Vic...what would you like help with? ;)

I used to listen to danny rampling and pete tong on a fri/sat night with my older sis from the age of 11, when i turned 14 she let me go out raving with her so was music for me :)

Steady on there.

They can be used in a really positive way. It's the abuse endemic that's the problem - not the poison itself.

Alcohol doesn't offer the same depths of insight as some illegal alternatives (coke excluded) and is socially regressive in comparison.

It's easy to see why governments favour ego enhancing drugs. Brainwashing the masses is much simpler when they're blinded from truth.

I personally think there's something lacking from a clubbing adventure if you don't have mdma or similar. I just feel like there's something missing if stuck with booze. My non-druggy mate will occasionally say to me "I don't need drugs to enjoy myself" while standing there with a pint in hand.

That said, I'm not a fan of getting cabbaged.
