where's the old skool nites

hi guys

im returning to ibiza after 9 years as girlfriend wants to sample the delights
im going on the 22nd sept for a week and was hoping some of yous could tell me where are the best places for music from the early to mid 90's or the old skool raves can be found
ive cant seem to find anything on the clubbing timetable for the big clubs

your help is much appreciated

I was @ Retro http://www.retroevents.com/ in Pacha the nite of Deep Dish late July and it was rocking but i agree there are not enough old skool nites in Ibiza to cater for those of us who prefer the classic tunage from the late 1980's/early 1990's.

Sure i like some of todays dance music but if you were around back in the glory days of Rave then you will know they simply can never be beaten

If you do find where any are, please post them as Id be interested. Retro as far as Im aware is the more commercial old skool. Ive not been myself, but I know people who have.

i guess ill have to try the Retro nites i just think the music especially in last few years just doesnt do any thing for me with exception of a few tunes........mmm maybe im getting too old and thinking of the "gud ol days"...lol

but im sure ill enjoy myself anyway especially if i can get my hands on some of that mdma crystals over there. i had it here recently and felt like the buzz i got 13 odd years ago

Yeah i know that site wasn't it hacked lately though Retro isn't all commerical when i was there they played a few good underground tunes

it plays classics and invariably some of the classics have had some commercial success.

e.g. where loves lives is on nearly every old skool/retro/classic album but its still one of the best.

Yeah it was hacked, but it was only down for a few hours

Ok, maybe commercial wasnt the right word, plus its hard for me to give an educated opinion as I myself havent been there. Im just going on what Ive been told Im led to believe that it generally sticks with the well known classics, the anthems etc, which for me personally isnt my prefered taste. Dont get me wrong I still love a lot of the anthems, Im just sick to death of hearing them
