Where to stay, Playa d'en Bossa or San Antonio?

Hey all... I'm a French/American (born in Paris, lived in Morocco for 10 years, then US) visiting Ibiza for my first time from Jun 21st to 26th... been dreaming of doing so for ages. The big question: Where should I stay???? Playa d'en Bossa was looking good (cheaper, bora bora, plus space & pacha), but the site says that san antonio is generally packed with british. I can speak french & english fluently, but I'm thinking that maybe somewhere where there are more english speaking people might be easier to make friends? What would you all recommend? Is it easy to go to Space, Pacha and Amnesia if you're staying in san antonio?? Thanks!

I'd go for PDB, like you said you've got Space and Bora Bora on your doorstep and Ibiza Town is only a short journey away. PDB attracts a more international crowd - in fact I'd say most nationalities are represented there. San Antonio is mainly young Brits and the only clubs you've got there are Eden and Es Paradis. If you do stay in PDB def go over to San Antonio for a night cos you get the sunset bars tho.

Spot on I agree with her 100%. I would book soon if I was you.

Bonjour

I stay with the british (i'd love to get with that), or I go for the more international crowd. i guess it's defininitely up to my preference, because as of this moment, i can't decide: stay with the british, and try to mack on that, or go for a intl crowd.... it's tough.

at the moment, it seems like PDB is the more happening place, but SA has more tourist/british easy-going ladies. so is it really the choice btw easy ass and a crazy club experience?

The west end had more pubs and British birds may not equal easy ass. The people who come to Ibiza are all more relaxed no matter where they are from.;)

PDB is boring IMO. Could be anyone of 1000 holiday resorts around Spain. San An is a better, more happening base and every year money is being spent on it. This year we have the new promenade, the new Plastik and new bus station to look forward to! Cant wait! ;)

Space, Bora Bora and DC10 all close to or in PDB, but Taxis and travel is relatively cheap and adds to the fun! As a base, San An wins hands down (and the girls shave their armpits)

Did you watch that programme the other night about how Britain has gone too PC. If you take that comment seriously and as a 'racist' slur, you need to get outmore.

It's called having a laugh. Because some people choose to shave their armpits and others dont, whats 'racist' about that?

You depressed today?

Ps. My next door neighbour is Scottish, white/blue, ginger hair, 6 foot and she has the hairiest pits I have ever seen. Not my cup of tea, but should I not talk about it in case I get accused of being a racist? What abolsute nonsense. The only sense you are making is no sense.

I do take most of what you say as a laugh mate, I really do. I softened it by using a brent-ism, but i cant help notice that you keep coming back to PDB and Germans and making snide remarks, funny or not.

This isnt just a British site, not everyones gonna catch onto your sense of humour.

And your right, I do need to get out more this weekend. Ive not had a weekend where ive not been out for about 7 months and im having major withdrawl symptoms. If youd like to donate £1 to the "Get Phil out this weekend" fund feel free to send me a PM.

Danke!

i don't find dirk funny at all, in fact i've seen it all before when it wasn't dirk but it was if you see what i mean.

I will calm down with the Faulty Towers type German jests, point taken. No harm meant - honest.

I am in the same boat! I decided that I really need a detox weekend and I am not involving myself in anything that can impact my health. It is also a year to the day that Hearts won the cup and I have been reminiscing about the fanastic day/weekend out I had last year. Very, very messy!8O 8O 8O

Dont see what you mean, if you could explain that would be great. Better to loved and hated by some than loved and hated by no one.

Anyway, a message board would be boring without a bit of controversy.
