I am planning to go to Ibiza for my first time this summer but the lowest price i am seeing is over 600quid for 2 weeks flying from Belfast. Is this what you lot pay?If not where is the cheapest place to book from? Thanks in advance.

I always book flights and accomodation separately, you get a better deal plus there is more flexibility and choice.

So what apartments are good then but also cheap?

It depends where you want to stay, if you do a search on this site for hotels/apartments you will get an idea of prices etc.

We're using portland direct for the third year running. Never had any problems. £445 for 2 weeks. Massive apartment with air con, satelite tv.
It's probably cheaper to organise yourself but for us its just convenience.

I too have stayed at Xaloc 4 times now, very handy and the security guard is a right laff!!! We looked at booking direct but as Maggie (receptionist) explained Thomson’s book up all the rooms during the season so you can only book direct beginning of May.

We still gatecrash the Xaloc Pool even when we are staying elsewhere. :?

Usually if I’m staying for a week n there is only 2 of us we stay just over the road in Tagomago nice n cheap half board hotel I’m not keen on the food but there are plenty of cheap places to eat near by. Can Grao being my favourite. You get fantastic sunset and sea views if you get one of the rooms with a large sun terrace! The staff at Tagomago are great you could not ask for nicer people!!!

Yeah i know but that is the only time i can get off work so it has to be then.Where did you book yours?

Co-op Travelcare, they are really good and at the moment they are knocking £50 off each booking, are you picky with ur accommodation? the apartment we are staying in is very basic but it will be fine for what we want it for

ok i was just doing a search there for u but everything is booked up, we booked with 2wentys because the accommodation is really cheap and usually quite central but be warned dont book their trips!!

Yeah, its in a nice location. It's good to have a few drinks local then stroll round the bay to san an.

I have to say though that security guard was nothing but trouble for us. He kept accusing us of taking people up to our rooms when we didn't. Gods honest truth we tried our best to keep a low profile becasue of the amount of families there but he had it in for us big time, kept checking our passports when we came in.
