I was wondering what to wear when I go to certain clubs. I've heard that some clubs are really "fancy" and alot of people dress quite extravegantly and others are a bit more casual where people go with jeans and t's.

4 clubs I'm deffenitely going to: Pacha, Privilage, Space and DC10. Any suggestions on what to wear to these ones?

Also, I'm presuming that the wisest thing to wear to bora-bora is a bikini, I'm I not right?

Oh, and one last question that comes to mind: are there lockers or coat-check-ins (that's what we call them in canada) in these clubs? If yes, any idea if we have to bring a lock w/us or is one supplied? otherwise, anyone knows about how much it may cost?

Thanks all.

coat?

yeah, no kidding...I know I won't need a coat. I mentionned coat-check because that's what they call it here.
I'm actually looking for a place to leave my purse or a change of cloths or an extra pair of shoes, without having to worry about them being stollen.

I would not say that people dress up extravagantly at any of the clubs on the island. However, people are definitely very colorful at some places, namely Space and Privilege.

My advice is something colorful and eye catching at Space (not to mention light stuff due to the heat). During the day the colors look vibrant also.

DC 10 - Colorful but funky.

Pacha - Something along the lines of Space, but it's a night thing.

BoraBora - Anything goes. Obviously, if you will take a dip then you will have some form of swimwear.

One advice, stay away from polyester as it is very hot, and it becomes very uncomfortable.

Was in Pacha on Saturday and my advice to you is that women mostly really dress up. We were with a girl who did T shirt and jeans and she felt a little uncomfortable at times in the crowd, especially up on the terrace. A little like she was the odd one out..

I should say though its down to your nature and how you feel in relation to the people around you. Everybody was friendly and I didn't see anybody really checking each others outfits like you sometimes find at some gatherings...

So I say think silky / short / european glam / lipgloss for Pacha. But if combats are you thing, wear with pride.

Nice!

Hey everyone...

love your advices...I'm happy with all your comments.

As to you Mr. Laguna beach, I checked out your pics...very interesting...you're a photographer? you have quite a nice "variety" of pics if I can say so...By the way, are you middle eastern? you look like you are...anyway, thanks for the info, great help.

Mr. Gardner: Yeah, I get you...the thing is, I like to dress-up...it's just the way I am on a regular basis here...but...some clubs in Montreal are really crowded w/younger people who prefer mostly to wear jeans and t-shirts and I sometimes feel like I'm over dressed...you know? anyway, great advice, thanks a billion.

kisses everyone.
Becky.

Ethnically, yes. My family is originally Iranian (or Persian, as the Iranians like to term themselves). However, literally for the past 80 years the entire family has been bouncing around the world like a bunch of gypsies. So culturally, I am more mixed up than the contents of gumbo soup.

By the way, I'm glad that you liked the pictures. Over the weekend, I have made many additions to the Laguna Volleyball set of pictures. Feel free to check them out. And no, I am not a professional photographer, but I am a very, very serious amateur.
