When's the best time to go to Ibiza

Me and mates are going to the island for just a week this year, and we're thinking around late June time. Will most of the big nights be active around then or is it best to leave it till July/August? We don't want to miss out on the bigger events, like Manumission- so will June time be too early for that?

HOla Frantic,

Not sure about Manumission, but late June is great cos you have lots of opening parties
 
I tend to go for the first week in July, just before the prices go up in high season. Manumission (which is hugely overrated IMHO) is usually open at that time.

Another good time to go (although the weather can be a bit more variable) is in September for the closing parties.

Late July and August in San An tends to be reserved for the Stella swigging lobster boys in FCUK shirts.
 
Start/First week of August (Radio 1 weekend if there'll still be one) and middle - end of September for the closing parties.
 
I don't understand why everyone promotes September for people who clearly state that they don't want to miss any big events? :?

I mean, I think June and Sept are the best times to go FOR ME because I don't want to go in the high season.

But for someone who is keen on the big events I'd say go in July or August.

And save the quieter months for us professionals ;)
