I've never understood why people travel from Yorkshire on a coach for 4 hours each way to go shopping on a rammed high street and end up with presents they could have bought in Leeds. Cretins!
Shopping in central London is a nightmare full stop. I try to avoid it as much as possible. Although, I do quite like the quirkiness of Greenwich! (Yes I know it's not central, but it's near my house, which is always good!)
