What's your favourite sunset tune?

Some of you may or may not know I have the privilege of being one of Cafe Mambos resident DJs this year and I am right now sorting throught the vast collection of music that is required for this job and was wondering what peoples favourite sunset tunes were?

A few of mine are:
  • Louis Armstrong-What A Wonderful World
  • Pink Floyd-Wish You Were Here
  • Bill Withers-Ain't No Sunshine
They might be a bit obvious but they mean something to me. Let me know yours, wouldn't want to dissapoint any spotlighters over the summer!

Always wanted to hear Massive Attack's Unfinished Sympathy at sunset. Perhaps a little more melancholic than some like but I think it'd work brilliantly. Anyone know if it's been done?
 
I heard Bassomatic's fascinating rhythm at savannah (soul odyssey mix) a few years back sounded great...
 
If Unfinished Symphany hasn't been done then I'll be giving it a go this year, a favourite track of mine. Love Fascinating rhythm too, not sure if I've heard the soul odysey mix though. Need to dig deep into the collection to find that.

unfinished sympathy is my all time fav track, i've neva heard it done for a sunset, the goosebumps would be massive if i heard that :D

I've got the soul odyssey mix if you need it Matthew ;)

Let me know when - as long as it's between next Sunday and the rest of the season I can make it to Mambo;) 8)
 
at my first ibicenco sunset jose padilla played:

only thing that has come close to that are the balearic classic:

sub sub - "past" and also

alicia keys - "If I Ain't got you (Everything means nothing)"

Aint no sunshine would be a classic, even though i have never watched the sunset in Ibiza i would imagine that would do me.

i always associate black gold of the sun as more of a daytime tune (due to the numbr of times i've heard it being played during the midafternoon heat)

works whenever though8)

Played a track once but I don't know what it's called some old soul track that goes "so sad the song".

Also Roberta Flack - The first time ever saw your face, is a good one..
