What's your best 'musical moment' ever?

waving my shirt at some bloke across from me in Space whilst on top of a speaker, dancing to 7th Nation Army last year. I cant believe this is only my 2nd Ibizan summer...

Godskitchen Amnesia 1999 - I'd just met my boyfriend and we'd been saying that it wasn't over, we would see each other again and Grace 'Not Over Yet' was played - we decided it was fate and we're still together now!!!!

Awwwww

Losing my mate in El Divino at a Hed Kandi party one Saturday night last summer, and hearing Shakedown - Drowsy with Hope... (gonna have to dig this one out of the box again)

or

Hearing David Guetta - Just a little more love (wally lopez mix) for the first time in Pacha last year!

or

Hearing David Morales play his 'how would you feel' for the first time last July in Pacha... same night as the Guetta tune... what a night that was...

or

Hearing 'Dina Vass - The love i have for you' for the first time and bringing house music back into my life again after a 6 year break!!

or

Roger Sanchez playing 'Black Legend - The trouble with me' to a packed Bed in Sheffield and seeing the place go mental... Dont really like this tune anymore tho!

or

Hearing 'Blackwater - octave one' at Bora Bora! nuff said..

A few musical moments that spring to mind from recent years:

hearing Slam - 'Lifetimes' @ DC10, 2001

hearing Cassius - 'Sound Of Violence' (Narcotic Thrust mix) @ DC10, 2002
(had first heard this on a Tong mix from Space, knew it wasn't going to be released for ages, was dearly hoping to hear it played on my trip to beefa ... was in DC10, starting to feel the effects, and my head nearly fell off when this was dropped!! 8O )

Gee dropping Underworld 'Two Months Off' @ Bora Bora 2002

Sasha playing Funk D'Void 'Diabla' at Bedrock @ Heaven, 2001

X-Press 2 dropping 'that' edit of Sweet Dreams and later I Feel Love @ Crash, London 2002
(this cemented XP2 as my fave DJs, and they have stayed thus ever since ... :P )

and perhaps my top tune moment ever:

New Order playing an extended version of True Faith @ Reading Festival 1998 ... 8)

I was at that Space night when Tong played this, sober, and it was a moment. Absolutely love the track and I still play it now.

Hmmmmmm........not exactly a 'musical moment' but music related.

14 years ago I started writing my own music. I wrote one that I thought was really good, so, I sent copies to 10 record companies around London.

My 'musical moment' - I got a phone call from the CE of the Venture Label, a subsidary of Virgin Records. He said he thought it was the best instrumental track he had heard all year and could I send all my material to him with a view to getting enough together to make an album! Fook me!!! 8O I only had written 2 others that were shyte. OMFG! During the phone call my legs started shaking uncontrollably, it was the most exciting moment ever, I nearly wet myself! 8O

So, I started frantically writing new tunes and kept sending them. I wrote around 37 tunes but only 13 or so survived (the rest were shyte). This went on for 4 years till I gave up and stopped as it was doin' my head in. I stopped writing after that, I still have 13 or so tunes on a CD and play it now and then. One day I may get back to them and update them although they still sound great :D , IMHO of 'course. ;) Aah well, what could have been............

Last year his excuse for not playing abroad was that he was scared of flying, big girls blouse

He said on his message board earlier this year that he was def coming to Europe this summer and we're still waiting
