What's the weather like at the moment?

Looks to be a sunny, dry and mild week coming up on Ibiza; but hey, late February and much of England (including my manor) expected to be above 15c by Wednesday. UK's record for Feb is 21.2 in London (26 Feb 2019) but reaching that's not expected. Ibiza's highest (that I can find) is 23.5c in 2000.

Tried to mow the lawn today but it kept clogging up the blades (grass too damp!) but a decent week and I'll have it looking like Lord's. Yeah, right.

It was absolutely glorious on the island this weekend. Felt warmer than usual for mid to late February and such a contrast to the weeks & weeks of storms and gale force winds. The water was crystal clear around the island - even at San Antonio & Talamanca!

Tomorrow & this week look wonderful too before it cools down next weekend.

Such a fantastic time to visit the island and still see the almond blossom as well.

after a stretch of about 10 days in which the weather was glorious, we're back to a bit more winter weather now.

this week we'll have a bit of wind, then a lot of sahara dust and some rain too. not looking forward to the brown rain!

Plus add all the pollen into the mix and it is very dusty out there. Despite cleaning, our car keeps being covered in a yellow / grey / brown dust.

I thought today & possibly tomorrow might be decent days before the rain?

the sahara dust is being washed away - the rain is back. pouring down currently in sant jordi!

forecast is giving a full week of 'meh' weather again. maybe we're lucky and we're getting a nice easter period then instead (which is often rainy on the balearics).

this is certainly the least beautiful balearic winter I've seen in a long time. it was never really cold (in fact it's been too warm almost all winter), but it's rained a lot (which is good let's be honest) and we've had lots of windy days too. we're used to sunny winters generally so this winter was a bit different.

in all honesty though, I'm happy if it rains now and then turns nice again from about april onwards! let it rain now!
