Just arrived in the hotel im Port San Miquel. Drove from the airport through Eivissa. Everything went really smoothly. I am surprised how „normal“ the situation is.

Does anyone have a view on whether PDB/Ibiza Town will be close to normal by Saturday from what they can see? I am considering changing my hotel to San An Bay, but Easyjet are saying I need to decide by today, due to the 3-day cancellation policy

I think I'd be inclined to change as i doubt there's anybody who could accurately answer that question, whether they were being sincere or not. Very much a "how long is a piece of string"

needless to say, a lot of the shops, restaurants and bars in the port of ibiza have been hit badly. as well as figueretas and playa d'en bossa

so my advice to anyone that's visiting in october. maybe give them a few days to clean up and get sorted, but then DO VISIT THOSE PLACES and spend some money there - avoiding those spots won't be a big help!

Water at hotel has gone down about 2 inches. So its working.

Still knee high.

Hope its sorted when return from cova santa. Don't fancy chances in darkness and wasted

Well, on my way up to the north I have barely seen any water / flooded streets. I am really surprised.

Yep. Package. It's too close to the holiday to change the hotel, unless the hotel is un-usable. And apparently they have said it's fine!

Yes, easyJet and Jet2 do all-in-one holidays, other than getting rep and transport from the airport (bus might be quicker as it doesn't hang around for pax collecting their bags!), think it works out more expensive than DIY.
And if you use sites like booking then you could cancel at short notice and find somewhere else.

Looking at a Jet2 package for next September. Compared to flights + hotel, etc and using the 2 current discounts, it’s working out cheaper. Bag prices on Easyjet & Ryanair are crackers.
