What's the weather like at the moment?

Been seeing a lot of footage on instagram and just feeling pretty sad for all the little businesses that are just rocked by the floods, it's gonna be a lot of work to clean and clear everything. My hotel had a wall of earth fall on it and they're having to relocate people and some of them are just being assholes to the staff.. and there is no water coming from the taps currently either. I hope when I wake up tomorrow things will have drained away!
 
Lots of people I know here have had their properties badly damaged - basements and ground floors completely flooded with lots of damage. It looks especially bad on the East side of the island. Hope everyone on here is all ok.

Very grateful to live up a hill.
 
Flipping nightmare.. trek from San An to Fig today, only to find no-one allowed in due to storm damage. Then a long wait (5 hours) for them to get me sorted with alternative accomodation, back in San An! Not where I want to be really.
 
Update: yep. Tried to empty jacuzzi rain water and its just sat there. So local drains must be proper stuffed up.

Fortunately the toilets still empty 😬

Can see a tile hanging off side of my rooms roof. Guess that where rain came in from.

Fergus bahamas. I've updated FB post with name.

The main sewer must be problem. Its literally knee deep on me, so like a foot and half deep.

Ground floors are flooded so deeper than seats.

Just hoping not too much sewage in it 😬

Pool gonna take a complete empty and clean so out of use for rest of season at a guess.

Oh dear....I thought you might say that. I am arriving on Saturday to that same hotel! Need to call easyjet...

Yeah the hotel is working fine except to get to and from rooms you gotta go for a swim at minute.

I'm hoping they unblock the drains soon, so by afternoon its gone.

Pool won't be usable though.

I should have booked the twiins again 😅

Edit: I suspect you might have to go to different hotel anyhow as all ground floor rooms out of action now.
