What's the weather like at the moment?

Back to being uncomfortably hot again today. Currently showing as 38.5 here near Cala Salada, just before 18:00.

danger of severe thunderstorms, strong wind and waves. By Friday noon it should have passed. Maybe in the end it won't be as serious as it's forecasted, but be safe everyone! I'm not doing any hikes tomorrow (have moved bookings) and hiring a boat tomorrow is also not a good idea. I have a feeling some outdoor clubbing events might also be affected by this. Watch this space for updates.
 
after weeks of heat, this morning feels lovely. it's not raining yet, but clouds are moving in and it's looking wet for later today, the main rainfall could be in the evening/at night actually.

by mid-morning tomorrow we should be back to sunshine, but in the 24hrs until then we might see some of those funny pictures and videos with flooded streets. it's also possible though that the main rainfall hits the sea around us and 'misses' the island. we'll see.
 
Just been swimming around Gracio & Gracioneta and the clouds are gathering but no rain at present. Nice and quiet too!
 
Rain well and truly on in Cala Salada since just after 18:00. The most rain (plus plenty of thunder) that I've seen here in months.

Very grateful for it too!
 
Didn't really get so much in the Bay - for now, at least.

A short downpour that was over in a few minutes. Thunder for longer, including overhead but seems to have passed
 
rain is coming now in San Antonio, the open sea was /is very very agitated and dangerous , Literally no boat left the port of San Antonio today except for 2 who thought it was not possible to cancel a trip during the high season, one of the 2 had to call for help! All the sailboats are also in protected areas
 
soooo....the clouds are on their way out. in the end, I think it hasn't rained as much as originally forecasted. ibiza town side of the island it's only really rained during the night and a few drops this morning, but nothing major.

it's a lovely 24ºC right now which makes for a nice change!

sun's coming back this afternoon and then we're back to normal summer mode, even if a little less hot than the past few weeks (which is nice tbh)

So what actually happens if the power's down for a long time, people have meals etc and no cash, if the power's down cashpoints will be down too? In the old days we used to have a swipe-and-print - copy for them, copy for me - but I bet those are obsolete these days!
