Whats so bad about the westend??

Why does no-one like the westend?....... I am an Ibiza virgin and just wondered why?

Whats the worst thing about it?

When you go to Ibiza, take a trip down there just for half hour say, and I think the visit will answer your question Ami :) and possibly give you another question- what's right with them!! again IMO.
 
it's not that it's 'bad', it's just a matter of taste. Basically, apart from some specific bits like the sunset stirp etc, it is no different to any other british holiday resort, so if you want karaoke, catch the football matches, english breakfasts, loads of people on the pull, then go there....

personally, i'd rather feel like i've actually left britain, and experience different food, culture, bars and soak up a proper european, cosmoplolitan atmoshpere.....

just depends on which you prefer, i stay in ibiza town, and i find it a million times more firendly, we went out one night in san antonio, and ended up getting a bit of hassle, i know thats not the norm, and the majority of people love it...but i didn't.
 
well the peeps that stay there and the cheesy bars.
I admit, I sometimes go to the danish bar there, cuz the nice lady there gives us freebies a lot a lot - but otherwise I stay away

The first year I went some british pissed up to the eyeballs - brit pulled off my top, there´s shoutnig, noise, drunken idiots everywhere, bad food and basically - and litteraly vomit on the pavement!

that was the downside.

during daytime, you can however find good recordshops there, some clothes and various places to sit down and relax at.....but that area of san an is not really the "genuine" ibiza, some might say.....its the placewhere all the tourists flock to get drunk and pull and it´s a freakshow at nite imo.

you will see for yourself when u go!
 
I suppose i will just have to see what it is like....... i wont know unless i try!! bit scared now though!!

NOOO Dont be scared, its just a madhouse really - but nothing really bad goes one, its just a discusting place after 8 in the evening with all the cyberkids running around thinking they are "´avin it in beefa" - when really they schould have gone to Callella or Falaraki!
 
it doesnt really sound like my thing to be honest but i suppose you have to give anything a try!!

ami, sure you'll have a fab time, you'll probably be all over the island anyway....so it doesn't really matter where you based, it 's just somewhere to crash....spend your days at places like Bora Bora etc....thats thats the frist palce i'll be heading for on the saturday!!! maybe see you there!!

sure! you schould try and see what it is, some nites are worse than others, but believe me: peeps don´t seem like they are above money-stage there - neantherpeeps down there......hehehe

More than likely be there too on the saturday, really cant wait... very excited now.... just need a new suitcase!!
 
Yeah i know..... bad arent we!!

Blokes can just pack trousers and shirts/tops etc but we have to pack out whole wardrobe, drawers, etc etc!! :P
