whats for lunch?

What is up with all this salad nonsense?

The funny thing is, most of the salads you guys described have enough stuff on them to make then as fattening as a cheeseburger! But you've been programed to believe they are "healthy"

Why do so many people equate healthy with weightloss, and fattening with unhealthy?

Eating healthy food is about getting the nutrients and vitamins to allow your body to function properly. You can eat a high calorie meal which contains lots of stuff that is good for you and you can also eat something with hardly any calories in it which is a pile of crap and no good for you at all.

Uh.... fried pieces of something with an oil based dressing on top of lettuce (ruffage - little vitamin content) and a couple of bits of tomato and onion is no better for you than a cheeseburger with lettuce & tomato, my friend. Doesn't matter if you're counting calories or nutrients

you said that MOST of the meals on here were more unhealthy, and then pick one

i have you know i made mine from raw ingredients and the only traces of fat/oil was in the sesame oil i used to the dressing and the cooking oil in which the prawns were fried in (with excess shaken off).

Roast beef sandwich w/ whole grain bread and fat free raspberry vinaigrette.

Yummy!

Might get an apple later to wash it down.
