Whats Crawley like???URGENT HELP NEEDED

ok ok so what to do? how long does it take from gatwick then? should i go for brighton rather than croydon, crawley, three bridges ect??????

When I lived in the UK, I lived in Beckenham ( bromely)... You can take the tram( which starts at around 4:00 am) to east croydon station in about 15 minutes.. then its only a short and chep train trip to Gatwick.. and I've taken trains at 3:00 am going there and back.. also the N2( which goes as far as Crystal Palace.. then a short cheap cab ride) or the N3 are very convenient for getting home from London in the wee hours..also trains from clockhouse ( to Charing X) and beckenhman junction into victoria only take 25/30 minutes.. zone 4.

When I go back and visit family, I have no trouble getting to gatwick.. I THINK there is also a bus from Bromley that goes at all hours to Gatwick..

beckenham is fairly nice and family-ish, its easy to get to London too.. and as I said, easy to get to Gatwick

Bromley, doofus.

I thought you were busy?

I am! Busy making the proles think I'm busy by not strolling aroung the office chatting to pals on the blower. Specially when I've just read one on the riot act for pissing around on the net!

Bromley, Croydon, Lewisham, it's all the same innit?

IG, I have taken the TRAINS from East croydon in the wee hours, the trams from beckenham start running a bit later..

link for trams where you can check schedule..

I have arrived back in Gatwick at 3 in the morning, trains were running into East croydon, but had to wait a wee while for the trains to run back to beckenham junct.

if I were to LIVE there again, I probably wouldn't live in beckenham though..

Crawley?

Hi,
National Express coaches from Brighton to Gatwick run at the following times through the night: 0110 0310 0315 0415 0445 0535 and 0610
I live very close to croydon and although the travelling may be a bit easier I think brighton would be a much nicer place to live!
:)

right but again probably also more expensive and the trains are probably expensive too. how long does it take from brighton to gatwick?
