whats better opening or closing parties?

Closing parties are far better than the opening parties.

I find it important though to go to the actual clubs closing party and not the promoters (which are still V.Good) i.e. Space closing not 'we love' closing and Amnesia closing not La Troya/Cream etc.

Especially this year cause the opening parties r too widely spreaded...

This year I had my first experience with an opening party @ Space, Loved it.
But, I have a feeling the closing parties are best...It's the entire summer blowing up in one day.. 8)

ive been to opening parties last year and im going to the closing parties this year.

i would expect closing to be better as for the opening its the first night so things could be hit or miss. buy the end of the season they have got everything sorted and probably know how to rock a croud best. i cant wait for then closing parties this year

I'm doing closing parties this year as well.
My week is from the 13th to the 20th of September.
Thus i'll attend the following closing parties:
Cream @ Amnesia, Defected @ El Divino, Hed Kandi @ El Divino.

Personally I like both for different reasons.

At the Openings everything is all shiny and new and exciting ready for another season, the clubs are busy but nicely busy, the weather is great and you get a really good crowd of people.

Closings are good cos the end of the season is coming to a close so everyone is partying to the full, however at times the clubs are unbearably busy for some of the main closings and the weather is generally not as good.

I like to do both, if I could only do one I think Closings would edge it only for the fact that if you do Openings then that's it for the season.
