Whatever happened to Brandon Block....

Gingerfreak hijacked my post about minging drinks wondering whatever happened to Mr Block so I have dedicated a post to this subject for him.....


I suspect he's like the Queen Mother, for years I thought she was really dead but embalmed and basically wheeled out for state ocassions, and I figured that quite possibly - the same premise could also be applied to Brandon Block...... Discuss! (or not - entirely up to you)
 
The last time I saw him he looked like he was in the k-hole outside Es Vive and the staff had to carry him to his room and that's quite some feat 8O :lol:
 
he was at "tru-do" in puerto banus in the summer, lookin like a cross between rod stewart & peter beardsley...apparently he's gettin married soon...some of the g/f's friends are going!!

I suspect that's why he stays there - he knows he'll get looked after....

'spose he's a bit like Paddington Bear really, his Aunt Lucy probably puts a label round his neck at the beginning of the season saying "please look after this DJ, return to Es Vive Hotel, Ibiza"

you can catch him drinking in Finchley sometimes... last time I saw him was at a pub called the Puzzle with Alex P and me and mate played giant jenga with him. He also Dj'd in there for his sis bday.

Nah - I dont do Tall Trees - its Chav city.. :lol: :lol: also its about a £47 taxi journey one way!!

My nephew and a few of his friends were visiting Newcastle one weekend, we asked them to come to Shindig to see Digweed but they didnt fancy it as some bright spark had suggested Tall Trees and they all went with the general vote. We tried to tell them what it was like (bearing in mind none of them dabble at all and drink in pubs and go to Discos) they got a Tall Trees bus from Newcastle at 9.00pm were in the club for about 1 hour and sat in the foyer of Tall Trees till the bus came back for them at 2.00pm - poor little buggers.... :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
on the way home in sept i was on the bus being taken from the terminal to the plane and he was on it, and i over heard a very amusing conversation. he was talking to some girls, lets call them "young clubbers" I couldn't help but have a chuckle. The bit i heard went something like...

BB:alriite girls

YC: Yeah thanks had a great time.

*then they talked for abit which i'll skip*

YC:Whats your name?

BB: Brandon

YC:What do u do Brandon.

BB: I'm a dj.

YC: where do u dj

BB: i dj'ed at space yesterday.

YC: really,. thats cool..

i was chuckling away at their naviety..

yeah well i've never even been on a plane so NERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! :D


i read in mix mag, not sure which issue (it was 2004, but we get it like a month later in aus) he did something at some awards ceremony, and Alex P told him he won, when he hadn't he went up to get the award and some old guy was like "ews dis carnt?" or something like that, and then he attacked him with chopsticks and got a drink poured on him? Thats what it said in mix mag, wasn't a feature article or nothing, I think November issue, not sure though, have to check. Though the picture they took, it made him look realllllly... .. crap, like I felt sorry for him.. He comes across as this past his prime Dj, whose desperately hanging onto something, how ever, he is still one of my idols. I once bought a mix cd of his and loved it. But ouff, bloke needs to be properly drained of alchohol I reckon, he looks like his brain is kinda crying out, poor guy. He's a legend though.
