If i could be in Ibiza tomorrow i would like to sit outside Can Cosmis in Santa Eulalia have coffee and people watch, i just asked Rosie what would be her favourite thing to do and she said shopping at Las Dalias on a saturday morning with lots of money,i just wondered what would you do if you could be there tomorrow? Stu

We too would like to be outside Can Cosmi with tomatoes on toast, people watching. Later we would head off to Nico's pool in Cala LLonga for a nice cool beer with our friends. We would have a dip in the pool and then onto Fernandos (cafe del mar) for more people watching. I think the evening would be rounded off with a meal and drinks in Los Albatross, followed by more drinks in the pio bar.......................ahhhhh bliss.

We are here.

We'll be going to the cash & carry in the morning to get the last of our stock which will be a nightmare as it is a fiesta here next Thursday and Friday and just about every bar in Ibiza is opening next Friday. So everybody is stocking up at the same time and the shelves are rapidly emptying. After that we'll be going to friends for lunch and in the evening we'll probably pop into the new Click Bar in restaurant street to see the new owners (our friends) Tamsyn & Alain and get pissed.

Las Dalias was packed this morning, Cosmi was quite quiet around 2,30 but by around 4 all the table`s were full, It was around 23 deg according to the chemist`s sign, and as always, The people watching was superb !!! Didn`t Try the coffee, but the beer wasn`t too bad :D
Have a good one
Tim

Thanks for the replys ,in 5 weeks i will be sitting at cosmis and she will be spending for England at las dalias,we stay near Calla Llonga but most mornings come in to Santa Eulalia with friends if any one is there when we are come over and and say hola regards Stu and Rosie

if i was bk home i would ba at home with my parents that i miss....and then go see the friends and looking forward for bar costa or comida san juan! ahhhhh cant wait!!!! 17th of june...long time till then...

A week tomorrow and I will be there for the first time this year. I prefer Royalty for a late afternoon coffee and cake and people watching and will visit the Marina for a meal sometime in the week, Es Caliu at least one night and Bar Costa for at least one lunch - the jamon seems better early in the year. A great chill out week!

My favourite Ibiza moment was waking up by a road about 100 yards from a petrol station god knows where with my bags scattered all around me, after being in the Manumision Motel bar all night. I had only just arived in Ibiza the night before and as yet had no hotel organised.
Ive never had a "where the **** am I and what happend last night" feeling like that since.
I was very impressed!

zodiac bar in es cana for a spagetti bolognaise then a dip in their lovely pool......then a night at san carlos grill with a juicy t-bone steak and cava sangria.......can't wait until 18th may

can cosmi

Thanks for the photo,s of can cosmi,we were feeling alittle sad after christmas and new year and back to work tomorrow, seeing our favourite place in ibiza really cheered us up even though were not back till june and a little worried about the euro.
kind regards Stu and Rosie
Happy new year to every one

Yes we agree, the photo certainly cheered us up, and its only 22 weeks on Saturday................................even less after we see you for the surprise birthday weekend.:)
These direct flights during the winter could sure produce more business if they flew from Manchester. Our withdrawal symptoms are awful. As for the euro, mmmmm we will have to just seek pleasures in the sheer beauty of Ibiza and possibly drink less!!!!
What about restaraunts offering incentives for returning diners night after night after night?

I'd be mooching around Es Cana, loving every second of it. Walking from Popeyes at one end to just past Punta Arabi at the other!!! 8)

Have you ever gone that bit further ? Down onto Cala Martina, follow the beach, then path (with various small bits of beach) all the way to Santa Eularia, lovely !!
Bus or boat return though..:)

I've been as far as S'Argamassa beach, but not to Santa Eulalia. Used to take my dog n explore the closed down camping place (wooden huts!) and the "cliff" bits round there. That's possibly Cala Martina.
We used to live virtually opposite Murphys bar in Es Cana (above The Outback bar)! Loved it, would go back in a heartbeat!!!

Last winter I walked the opposite way from Santa Eularia to Cala Martina but it was getting too late to carry on to Es Cana so I turned back after a quick drink at Cala Martina. It got dark pretty quickly on the way back and was actually very difficult to see where I was going in some places. Scary! Below is one of the pics taken on the treck back.
