What would you do?

Given a tenner too much change...what to do?

Sandwich shop down the road gives you a tenner too much change.

(I've actually decided what to do but want to know what the general consensus was.)
 
If I realised stright away, I would hand it back. If it wasn't until I'd left then I'd keep it.

Looks like you have £10 to go shopping with now...:lol:
 
I think it would also depend who did it. If it was Tescos I'd be less inclined to give it back than if it was a small shop. If its a little sandwich shop that you go to quite often I'd definately give it back.

A sarnie shops sounds like my local cafe so I would give it back. If it were a big chain then I would definitely walk quickly out of the shop :lol: :lol:

Years ago I was in a well known store and I was buying 10 roles of wallpaper (not the cheap stuff) and a little plant for 2.99. The man rung up one roll of wallpaper and my plant. So I quickly paid and rushed out of the shop. As I was wheeling my stuff out I could hear the man calling "excuse me madam", I just kept walking :oops: Again, "excuse me madam", I walked quicker :oops: :oops: Then, "excuse me madam, you forgot your plant". I could have kissed him!!! :lol:
 
If it's a Pret a Manger... keep it!

If it's Bob's local Deli... give it back!

I once found £350 hanging out of a Natwest bank machine and stupidly walked in and handed it in. Only afterwards I thought about it and wished I'd stuck it straight in my bag!
