What things really annoy you?

What things in society do you find really irritating?

I think the biggest one for me is basic misuse of grammar. My grammar is far from perfect, but I mean things like obvious misplaced apostrophes. I don't have a problem with it on forums and other informal writing, but I've seen official job advertisements that go along the lines of:

"Your duty's will include writing letter's"

I'm sure I mastered how to use apostrophes properly in about year 2, yet these mistakes are featured in official documents. I've even heard that there's a grammatical error in the UK passport!

Another thing that bothers me is people writing "teh" instead of "the" on forums. I'm sure a lot of teh time it's a genuine typo ( ), but I'm equally sure that some people do it deliberately. It's just so silly!

Maybe I just need to get a life ;p
 
When people stop to have a chat or look around in a doorway / corridor / narrow part of the footpath / ticket gates on the tube :evil: Really inconsiderate.

Grrrrr..... hate that!! Usually its chicks yapping away like they are the only people on the planet.

When people slam in to you at a bar/club and keep on walking.... would it kill you to apologize?! A fave amongst San Diego snobs.

WHEN PEEPS WANDER IN A TIGHT CROWD (like during a rad set... thanks for ruining my vibeage), YOU STEP ASIDE FOR THEM AND TAKE FOREVER TO PASS. GOD like thirty people did this to me at the Ferry set last Thursday. Sometimes if I am feeling particularly bitchy and the wandering seems endless, I will just dance spastically so they have to find another way around ;) :twisted: :P
 
Zombie Texters

People who text message constantly whilst walking about in shopping centres, bouncing off everything in site that they didn't see as they aren't paying any attention to their surroundings - they're like zombies in that state! lol

Got nothing against texting, just those people who do it whilst ahem, "mobile"

Maybe I should tell the government so they can do an TV advert about it... they can get that green cross code man out of retirement or those squirrels who used to show you how to cross safely without being splattered all over the road. lol
 
When people walk really slow over road crossings.

You know, the ones with no light. And you're late for work. :twisted:
 
arrogant people thinking there something that there not, usually they just look like pr1cks to me :lol:

Ppl that smoke on the dancefloor and like to wave their cigarette around like a glo stick, actually smoking in general, hate it :twisted:

My boss, when he gives me some work to do thats been sat on his desk for 2 days and it has to be done before i leave to g

When you make plans with a friend over the weekend and you get bumped Friday, Saturday and Sunday cause shes too stoned/hungover to do anything. If I'm f***ed I can still get up and do stuff, and if I know I'm gonna be particularyl buckled, I wont make plans at all. Said person has a week off work this week, whereas I have a weekend off, which is now, almost over, whereas she'll probably get bored during the week and moan at me cause i wont come over!

Bosses who ask why you work long hours, and that you should get home earlier - just before they give you loads of impossible work to do before Monday @ 1655hrs Friday.
People who park across two parking spaces or use disabled ones when they aren't


...Hey, who started this thread... It's good therapy... and helps me stop taking my tablets.

Come on, there must be more things we are all annoyed with, I'm just getting started too... :)

Oooh aye some people are never 'appy unless they're moaning, you know there's definately something wrong with tme if they're not moaning. Take that Pauline Fowler... :lol:
 
Old People going grocery shopping at the weekend (they have all week to do it but wait until the working population go)
 
first thing that springs to mind is when people stand REALLY close behind you in a queue

ITS NOT GONNA GET YOU SERVED QUICKER IF YOUR HALFWAY UP MY ASS!!!!! :x
