What things in society do you find really irritating?
I think the biggest one for me is basic misuse of grammar. My grammar is far from perfect, but I mean things like obvious misplaced apostrophes. I don't have a problem with it on forums and other informal writing, but I've seen official job advertisements that go along the lines of:
"Your duty's will include writing letter's"
I'm sure I mastered how to use apostrophes properly in about year 2, yet these mistakes are featured in official documents. I've even heard that there's a grammatical error in the UK passport!
Another thing that bothers me is people writing "teh" instead of "the" on forums. I'm sure a lot of teh time it's a genuine typo ( ), but I'm equally sure that some people do it deliberately. It's just so silly!
