Shopper shot in the street

A WOMAN was shot in the leg on a busy shopping street in Manchester city centre today.

The victim, believed to be in her 40s, was wounded on King Street in the city centre just before mid-day.

She collapsed with blood pouring from her left leg.

The woman appeared to be conscious and talking to paramedics treating her at the scene before she was taken away in an ambulance

flannels is in st annes passage which links st annes sq & king st.
king st is a pedestrianised street that is home to some of manchesters best shops, ie hugo boss, karen millen, allsaints, cecil gee, thomas pinks and until recently reiss, was speaking to amte at lunchtime and he says that they think it's a bungled random robbery :?

So is Gangchester worse than Shottingham? :?

much of a muchness mate, think it happens everywhere, but they tend to keep it amongst themselves, my worry is that we are becoming indifferent to it because it;s always happening, this is particularly horrific as it is a woman in broad daylight on one of englands busiest shopping thoroughfares?

imagine the same on Bridlesmithgate in Nottm??

I think I will refrain from expressing my sentiments as quite a few of y'all know what my take on the issue will be, but I am curious as to why it happened?
