i have a dilemma this weekend.

i want to go ' out' once

my very good mates are going to this

but i dont really like turnmills and it will probably be very busy and the music will not be especially 'challenging. but all the 'crew' will be there


or, this underground ravey type aciiiiid party

which will be hugely wild and substantally cheaper than the drinks in gurnmills.

or do i save myself and go to the light bar on sunday afternoon

I would be going for the non-Turnmills option - I am much preferring small more dingy venues at the moment... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I find you get "more" than you would atmosphere-wise than in a club...
 
Secret Sundaze have got the terrace at Canvas for their first daytime party of the summer on Sunday.

I'm going to try and conserve my energies for this. I don't think there's another outdoor venue quite like it in London. Will be rammed, though, presumably and much queuing will be called for.

very like my dilemma - I was thinking either the slaang thing on saturday, or secret sundaze on sunday. Can't decide. I also am loving dingy little E London warehouse things at the moment, but i'm also very tempted to try the secret sundaze with sunshine-outdoors-antics.

Although the words 'rammed' and 'queuing' put me off slightly.
 
I don't know... that Friday night at Turnmills looks massive. I believe the gang is all up for Saturday. If it were me, I'd do both nights (little nap in between) and maybe try to hit the Sunday Light bar event as well :D

there's that word again. 'rammed'. Is it not in a much bigger venue than previously?

is the light bar a bar or a club? i get the impression it's more of a bar-where-you-go-if-your-still-up-on-sunday... no?
 
its a bar (hence the name!!)

secret sundaze did some parties there last year.

it is, basically a bar with an upstairs and an outside and some djs.

whats not to like??

The Canvas terrace has a capacity of 1,500, apparently.

and i've heard the huge roof terrace has palm trees. you can't beat palm trees!!! :D
 
Go Turnmills on the Saturday night, go to afters wherever necessary, then begin pestering those around you to go Secret Sundaze.

Or just jet over to America and go 'hunting.

The secretsundaze 'flavour' parties @ The Light are truly shocking - we accidentally ended up at one last year and it was wrong on every single level :spank:

sorry danny boy but i think gurnmills and old mother rampling are gonna be a man down. much as i would love to spend time hunched over your key's i think it is gonna be slaaaaaaang for me.

maybe i shall 'hunt' you down for afters then.

At least the outsize hoxton fins and other varieties of distressed and/or dead badger hairdo will provide some shade, should sunburn become a possibility.
 
to be fair, the whole Def Mix lineup is outstanding. Id find it hard to pass up any of those nights.
