What makes your favorite club special???

When it comes to different clubs, each has their own unique thing that makes them special. What little detail makes your favorite clubs your favorite? Here are a few of mine....

Space, Ibiza - I love the way there are huge planes landing overhead sometimes, gave the club that 'spacey' feel...

Cavo Paradiso, Mykonos - The view of the Mediterranean as the sun rises truly is paradise...

Roxy, Prague - The lighting choreography was perfectly in tune with the music and gave the climaxes that much more of a bang...

So what makes your favorite club special???
 
Pacha Ibiza, as it's so god damm sexy. I love the club layout, the people, the DJ's, music. ...... I don't much like the poopy smell on the balcony outside though. :lol:
 
You mean on the rooftop terrace? Never noticed the smell... (not that I'd usually notice very much by the time in the evening I usually make my way up there :lol:)
 
Space Ibiza: The people, the layout, and the 'we're all mangled on a Sunday afternoon when everyone else at home is mowing the lawn' vibe of the place!:p :lol:
 
what i love about my fav club (pacha, ibiza) is:

all the pretentious people, 8)
the multi-layered/levelled layout,
the challenge to find the different rooms,
the not so visible VIP area, ;)
the challenge to find all the different stairways that lead to the terrace,
the new(ish) toilets in the main room,
the darkness:twisted: of zenith (RIP)
the view of dalt vila from the window in between the funky room+main room,
the beautiful people,
the spotlights on the outside of the club,
the clear and crisp sound system,
el cielo,
the guestlist scrum,
the cosmopolitanism(:? ),
the superstar line-ups and
last but not least.....................the "7am in pacha moment" on the main room dancefloor.

Space, ibiza:

The sheer amount of time I'm there gives me time to lose and find the plot again ;)
The terraces have a unique, amazing atmosphere
Everyone's on holiday and ridiculously happy and friendly
Dancing in sunshine is ace
Great music policy
The big yellow tubey thing

I have to stop now, my heart rate is going up at my desk!

The sheer volume of amazing looking people in a very casual, music oriented setting. The pounding soundsystem that is totally unique. I love this club too much, it's unhealthy.

DC-10, Circoloco

Total atmosphere, the dark, sinister beats layed down, and all this is happenning during the day!!!!

Damn, I want to go right now!!!!

I agree, I had never seen so many beautiful people in one place before than I did at the opening party last year... simply amazing...

Tyson, are you going this summer for opening and closing parties??? I have a few friends (fellow CU alums) that are going. I can't this year, as I have just bought a condo downtown, but if you are, maybe you can meet up w/ them.
 
Ya, I will be there May 30th-June 8th for a few of the best, I would love to meet up with some fellow cu clubbers there seeing as I am making the journey by myself this time... let me know when they will be there and we can figure something out...
 
Bed Sheffield- The fact that i will never ever be able to dance there again! It was an institution!

Space, ibiza- The whole sexy sunday afternoon naughty feeling of dancing in the sun!
