Cant think of any other reason why you would have wanted to be a milkman mate

or were you a child ketamine addict?

I wanted to be a solicitor, even after I finished my degree I still did and started a Law conversion course but it was sooooo boring (I think I thought it was going to be more like This Life  ) and then somehow I ended up in Marketing :?

Drew... that's a very thought provoking question. Me likey long time.

I wanted to be an Analyst for someone like Goldman Sachs, or a Consultant for a firm like McKinsey or Bain. Believe it or not I bumped accidently into the consultative sales environment, and I truly love it.

I always had a knack, and still do, of being very entrepreneurial, so my next move will be either to set up my own rep. company in the same industry, or go work for a company like Adidas (as a PM), and then after a few years come up with my own t-shirt line. Bottom line is that ultimately I want my own show.

Cheers,

I may as well have been a f***ing social worker after employing this lot

Not a happy bunny today and it's only 9:00am.

I will be getting pissed tonight

Very early on: A journalist

Later, couple of incidents point the way:

1) Got sent home from school for my entrepreneurial creativity. Kids are going home to their parents with their backs covered in very sore red scratches. After some interogation they reveal that they've been chucking 'itching powder' down each other's backs. The 'itching powder' is of course being sold by yours truly and being sourced by bagging up the fibre glass pipe lagging from the school toilets.

2) Got suspended from school (again) for my trading activities. Woolworth's were selling off multipacks of Softmints (or similar) at a knock-down price and I was bulk buying, then selling the single packets at a decent mark-up in school. Then a copper comes into school to do a 'talk' about buying stolen goods - the main point he made was that if someone's selling something cheap it's probably been acquired illegally. Some soft twat goes home and tells his Mum he's being offered 'stolen' sweets and I get the book thrown at me.

These days I run a very legitimate construction/utilities company - perhaps if I'd employed a healty & safety officer, or carried out risk assessments back then the 'itching powder scandal' could have been avoided

I wanted to be a physiotherapist but i couldnt be bothered to go to college uni etc. Id had enough of school at that stage deeply regret it of cors

I wanted to be a Psychologist but I enjoyed and did better at Sociology than Psychology at Uni so decided to do my Honours in that. :)

I strayed from the 'capitalist pigdog' path for a little while (a call them my lost years  ) and wanted to do something 'socially useful' by being a housing officer. This led to me to Manchester (although a teenage obsession with Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses and house music also contributed ;) ) to do a degree in Social Science. After the first year I regained my interest in my own economic well-being and took a job working 7 nights a week in a bar/club, taking one Saturday off a month to run a coaches over to Cream. Never went to another lecture and somehow scraped a 2:1, proving that some degrees are virtually given away these days. (I've got a proper one in Quantity Surveying since, I should add - fascinating stuff, I tell ya  )

Can you imagine if I'd worked for the social services?

"What's that you say? You're suffering financial hardship? No problems, we can have you digging holes for a living by the morning! Wanna buy a pair of work boots? Come, you won't get them this cheap anywhere else........"

You're 20-21, aren't you Karlos? Flip your desk over, tell Halifax they can shove 'Howard' up their arse and enrol in a Drama course.
